Public service announcement since most of the comments appear to be from flat earthers... There is not ONE observation or experiment which supports the idea of flat earth or is inconsistent with the accepted model. NOT. EVEN. ONE. The purpose of this app is to calculate the distance to the HORIZON, which every one of us has observed), and which PROVES the earth is a globe. No object above a flat surface can EVER be hidden from any position above that surface. Geometry 101. Earth IS a sphere.

The Earth is Flat because Water, the world is 70% water, the world is 70% flat. Water always horizontal never curve!

Using this calculator, I have calculated the curvature to be 8 inches per mile, which is accurate. What is this supposed to prove? Was I not supposed to get the answer that I did so you could use that as an argument or...?
