SO MANY ADS! This used to be a great app. Now, there are ads every couple of searches. Ads that are ridiculously long, ads that freeze your phone. Ads that you can't X out of, ads that force you to close the ap and reopen, multiple ads one after another. No option to purchase to get rid of the ads, just coins to temporarily make them stop.

The electronic Franklin Deluxe Scrabble Players Dictionary I have been using for decades recently stopped functioning. I looked at various replacement options but didn't find one that I thought would deliver an equivalent performance. On top of that, many devices were down right expensive. I decided to try this app rather than wind up purchasing a product that might fall short of my expectations. I am very impressed with the word building function. That the app is free is icing on the cake!

Really good but sometimes it misses the highest scoring word which sucks 'cause you have to watch an ad for it. Also ads are broken right now so after you wait through the whole thing, the screen turns black and you can't get out of it without closing the app, which means you have to keep doing it over and over, loading the app, uploading the screenshot and watching ads until it finally works.

I like this helpful dictionary. Gives me good ideas. But when playing Words2Friends VERY frequently the ads play & get stuck do I have to close the app & reopen. Very frustrating. Once in a while I can toggle back & forth & get out of the ad, but rarely. Sounds like a problem that software needs to remedy!! Otherwise I enjoy playing w/a friend online.

Wordfinder itself is great. I completely get why the ads are needed to keep the app going. However, the app is set up so you deliberately click on the ads and go elsewhere. What has made me angry is that I accidentally clicked on an ad and it immediately started downloading an app that appears to be a fake news report site I definitely didn't want and could potentially put viruses on my phone. Not cool. I would pay a one time fee for no ads, but monthly? No. I'm going back to webpage.

The feature to scan and delete screenshots frequently breaks. The best word is blocked by a 30 second ad. This wouldn't be an issue except that every time you scan a board over the course of a game, the given words depreciate in value the further along in the game you are. I've had plenty of games where my highest scoring word was at the end. App consistently lowers the score of the words available to you, so you are more inclined to watch the ad for the top scoring word. Shady af.
