Although the print edition is under valued vs slick local app options, it is a journal of OUR Louisville. It is a place for local observers with well written complete views. We need to stay informed past the News headline and a paragraph of emply pros . This is why I buy the paper. Hugh from the Highlands

New update is terrible. I cannot zoom anything manually without it jumping to a bonus section that I don't want to see. Then, there is no option to refuse the bonus section so I must exit the app and reopen it. Same thing if I'm asked if I want to see the "current" edition. Cancel? New edition. Other option is exit. Why are you driving us who still actually read the paper AWAY from the paper (even IF electronically).

worst app I've ever used. It has always been erratic but recent update and addition of the USA Today Bonus Section makes it unusable on my Android device. After years of use it now will not open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times to no avail. Contacted Courier-Journal, who promised to fix it but nothing has changed.

I love my Courier! I am older and would much rather have a print copy in my hands, with an entire article on one page. However, I can not afford that luxury except for Sunday. This is my major in depth news. It is very difficult to move to the rest of the story. Also hard to figure out how to change size of print in order to be able to read it. PS do we have an editor/proof reader anymore, prior to print. Misspellings, wrong words? Can't get Friday night sports in? CUT hours?

This app no longer functions. Articles don't display in text when you click in the index or on the graphical display. It stopped working the day USA Today was separated from the local paper (around 1/26/19). It is not working on both my Samsung tablet and S9 phone.
