This worked very well for us. I used it to start playing with my grandson on a tablet. I read and understand the frustrations some people are having. I also had a hard time with the ornaments until I looked closely. There are shaded circles in the tree. ...that's where the ornaments go, they will not stay put anywhere else. The trick is to slowly drag each ornament without letting go to to the shaded circle of your choice. You can get 3 per tree. Yes, there should be instructions to fully enjoy this app
