The Gordon Highlanders museum app is good, stylish and has a lot of interesting details about the museum. However, I had expected some interactivity with the app while your at the museum, using Bluetooth. This didn't happen however.

Welcome to The Gordon Highlanders Museum.
Aberdeen’s only 5-star Visit Scotland visitor attraction, the museum tells the extraordinary 200 year story of “the Finest Regiment in the World!” (Sir Winston Churchill, 1900)

This App will provide a number of exciting new elements to your visit including an alternative tour of the Grant Room, our primary exhibition space as well as interactive games and information that isn’t found anywhere else on your visit. You can also find our Tea Room menu and details of any offers that will help you pick from our wonderful selection of locally sourced meals as well as further information about the gifts and souvenirs available in our fully stocked shop.

The tour will provide you with additional insights into the lives of the men who served with The Gordon Highlanders. Special objects that are not on display are also revealed, whilst numerous photographs as well as audio and visual clips will bring the history to life.

Other rooms you enter also possess additional information on this App. Explore our previous temporary exhibitions when you enter the Hamilton Room, or the array of weaponry on display in the Armoury as well as the unique stories of individual firearms. Also visit our authentic Officers’ Mess dining room in the Lakin Room where you’ll see the symbolic regimental colours, a fully laid out table with the finest silver and portraits of important officers and events from the regiment’s past.
