Locals is an alternative to Patreon that blows it out of the water. Unlike other alternative tech platforms such as Rumble and Parler, the user interface is clean and intuituve. The UI is arguably on-par with YouTube and the video quality seems even higher. The developers deserve a ton of credit for the effort they put into this app.

I find the app easy to use, and I love the community concept. I LOVE DAVE RUBIN!! I'm not finding any nasty people or trolls and I appreciate the groups of like-minded people. They truly are communities, rather than a vast bucket of comments with the whole world chiming in and everyone trying to outdo each other with shaming, rudeness, nastiness, etc. THANK YOU LOCALS TEAM! 🙂

Locals is great. For some inexplicable reason the app on my phone today changed its logo and name to Rubin Report. I've never installed the Rubin Report app on my phone, but it's literally the same app.

Hidden fees & expenses. Extra fee required beyond subscription is not clearly noted. You end up finding random extra payments to locals on yr cc. Not happy.

Back in the day when dr drew was on loveline we would have to wait dor saturdays at 10pm and if you had a question you would have to try to call in. Today locals practically gives me direct contact with the celebrity I grew up with plus their circle! All $7.00 a month! While kaiser sends me to collections for doing nothing lol! I get to reach out to my favorite public figure Dr. Addiction specialist! So cool! The app itself needs some improvement functionality wise.
