ReSh is a FREE app which allows you to create an online inventory of the books that you own, create a library and facilitates selling, buying, renting and borrowing of these books from fellow ReShers in your neighborhood.

ReSh is about books and your love for reading. If you are an avid book reader you are probably eagerly waiting to get your hands on the book that you recently heard so much about. Whether it is about transporting yourself back in time to learn about our glorious history, learning about the nuances of a distant country, getting sucked into the thrills of the web of words spun by your favorite author, ReSh is for you.

Also, some of us have books that have been passed down lovingly down the generations or have acquired these meticulously over years. This is a treasure trove that has the potential to bring in vast amounts of joy in people who value them. It perhaps has the power to awe, inspire and even transform some lives it touches. We want to help you connect with this treasure.

CONVERT YOUR BOOKS INTO A PRIVATE LIBRARY, EASILY:

Add all of your books into ReSh easily and create your own private library. You can either make use of the search facility powered by the comprehensive book index of amazon, or scan the ISBN bar code on the book cover. We fetch all the relevant book details (including BEAUTIFUL BOOK COVERS) from the web to help you add your books. For those rare books of yours which are not available through search or through the ISBN bar codes, we have provided a feature for you to add the details manually.

SPREAD THE JOYS OF READING IN YOUR LOCALITY:

ReSh uses your locality information to help you find books that you wish to read (or may be buy) and are available from a fellow ReSher in your neighborhood. We strongly believe that the love of reading could bring book lovers in a neighborhood together and thus help spread the joys of reading.

MAKING BOOKS MORE AFFORDABLE:

Some books are expensive and one may not be able to afford or willing to spend that much to own them. At the same time, it is possible that there are people in your close proximity who own them and are willing to share them with you. ReSh aims at making books in this category (Professional books, illustrated versions, original editions etc.) more affordable to folks who need them.

ENABLING HUMAN CONNECT:

While it’s true that technology has shrunk the world, one cannot deny the uncomfortable feeling that we are lonelier than ever. We are increasingly dependent on technology and less on each other. We believe that we are slowly but surely missing out on that vital life force called the Human Connection.

We however, believe that technology can also be used to enable human connections and that ReSh is one step in that direction helping to bring people together face to face and to establish relationships with like minded people around you.
