Please we thank you people once again for GSL app but try to add more words to what you have already because there are some other words when you search them, you can't find them.

Nice and it has helped me a lot as an upcoming sign language interpreter. My suggestion is that, more words should be added and the mentor should not only be Stanley Marco. You can also add my mentors Francis sket and ofosuhene Aboagye keith. They are good and best

It is ok. Why I like it so much is because no internet access is required to view the signs.

About this app

OVER 1300 SIGNED WORDS
This is GSL Ghanaian Sign Language Dictionary.

We aim to include as many Ghanaian Sign Language signs and variants as possible. The signs in the app are based on various materials, including selected items from the dictionary "Ghanaian Sign Language" (n.d.) published by the Ghanaian National Association of the Deaf, and the "Survival Ghanaian Sign Language" (unpublished document) by C. Deutsch and C. McGuire, the "Sexual and Reproductive Health Education" video clips of the Ghanaian National Association of the Deaf, and the linguistic knowledge of Marco Nyarko, GSL tutor at University of Ghana, Legon. We ask Deaf signers of GSL to help us enrich this vocabulary by sending us signs that they feel are missing. We also welcome additional signs for concepts already represented in the dictionary.

Knowing GSL Ghanaian sign language will enable you to meet and interact with deaf people easily.
It is our goal to deliver a convenient, enjoyable, learning experience that goes beyond the basics.

This GSL Ghanaian Sign Language app contains over 1300 signs from Ghanaian Sign Language and their English equivalents. The GSL app is an initiative of the HANDS! Lab for Sign Languages and Deaf Studies at Leiden University, as part of the Language Socialization in Deaf Families project funded by the Leiden University Fund.
The content of the GSL app was recorded by Marco Nyarko, Ghanaian Sign Language teacher at the University of Ghana, Legon.
The software for the app was developed by Leslie Okyere, a deaf IT specialist and teacher.
The app is completely free!
