Einstein revealed that there is no actual reality to time and space. Rather, all is energy or consciousness.
Nevertheless, we experience both time and space. In addition, quantum physicists have shown that there is really no such thing as matter, even though we also experience the world as though it is material. Again, they have demonstrated that when you get to the atomic level, everything is energy or consciousness.
Because of our perception that our world is material, we also experience limitation. We are earth-bound, held here by the attraction of the material earth to our material bodies. We call that force gravity. We also have collisions between material bodies—cars, animals, asteroids, and so on.
So if none of this is actually true, why do we experience it? The answer is that these are shared experiences based on universal world beliefs. That then leads to the question—can we free ourselves from those beliefs, and if we did, could we experience freedom from gravity and other limitations?
According to yogic traditions, the answer is yes. Adept yogis are said to be able to levitate themselves, travel astrally, place themselves in suspended animation for long periods and survive, and so on. They can live in the 5th dimension, free of time and space and duality.
