I found this easier than going to classes, it was clear, slow and thorough. Worked very well in conjunction with school. I can't find days of the weeks or months which I thought was level one so that's disappointing but overall this is brilliant.

ABOUT THIS APP

In this app you can access The Auslan Company's Level 1 video program, which will enable you to master the essentials of Auslan.

With the help of students from Mornington Secondary College, the program will teach you the basics of Auslan covering a range of topics including asking questions, family, emotions, community, food and drink, colours, animals, transport and more.

At the end of each section in the program, Darren signs a selection of sentences for you to practice.

The video program is accompanied by a workbook containing 1-3 photos of each sign taught in the video program, along with movement arrows and some important grammatical points about using Auslan.

You can also sample the first 20 words from The Ausland Company's "A to Z of Everyday Auslan Signs" DVD, which is available for purchase from their website.
