Love the overall sounds and options but badly let down by some silly issues. You can't back up your tones unless you do them one at a time, which is slow and clunky. When using the top row of foot switches it's too easy to hit the bottom row. This could have easily been solved by putting a block of plastic above the bottom row. Also, you are forced to have certain settings, such as send/receive, compression and reverb, which means you're limited in how many mods you can have. BUT good overall.

I have used and played many different brands of multi effects floor boards; some extremely difficult to figure out (even with the manual); some not so hard to hunderstand. However, all of them left me hardpressed to acutally get the right sound or the proper tone I was looking for. Bad for those effects designers; sad for me! Then came the "New Kid In Town"! My jaw dropped when I heard the Firehawk FX. Many of the tones I wanted were already there. Amazing sound quality; amazing ease of play.

Initially good, but now sadly bugged, won't buy anything from line6 or yamaha now knowing that they don't care about their customers product longevity. No updates for 2 years and app not compatible with new version of android. For a product that relies on the app, this isn't acceptable. Just real happy I didn't buy the variax as well. Bullet dodged there.

This expensive piece of professional equipment, for some reason, relies on the inherent unreliability of an android app, a cell phone, and worst of all, a bluetooth connection. Apps need to be constantly updated and maintained, and Firehawk fails at this. It constantly drops connection, logs out of your account, and gives other errors that shouldn't be coming from professional music equipment. I couldn't imagine having to rely on this equipment for a gig or in any other professional setting.

Love everything about the Firehawk FX interface by app with exception for the tuner. It goes off on its own. Sometimes it works eight hours straight. Then it won't stay on the tuner mode without going back to your patch, for days on end. Other than that I love this pedal board and accompanying app!!!

The connectivity with your device is pretty bad and the software can be updated to not bug most of the time.
