I agree with the other reviewers. The application should: 1 - remember your log in information, at least your user id. 2 - remember where you are in a particular lecture, as well as where you are in the course and what courses/videos you have completed. Bonus points for a quick start button after you launch the application to resume where you last left off. - allow for full screen viewing of the video. 3 - allow for casting the video to a television or Chromecast/AppleTV/equivalent. Watching video on a phone screen gets old. ** I also liked the idea of earning achievements for completing courses mentioned by another reviewer. Overall, I'm really enjoying the content. Keep up the good work and I look forward to spending more time learning about libertarian ideas and theory. Edit 8/31/18 - Another quibble is that the application does not seem to add new courses as they are released. I'm not sure why.

I'm a fan of the content of this site, and while the app is a move in the right direction, it lacks some significant features to help one manage content. 1. Persistent login 2. Notifications (upcoming live sessions, new courses added, or other special promotions [could also track these in an 'Inbox' of sorts]) 3. Ability to maximize/rotate video stream 4. *most important* - Content manager/tracker - app should track what videos I've watched, the last video I was watching and where I was in it 5. Using #4, create Achievements for content viewing (hours watched, # of lectures viewed, # of courses completed, multiple views of lectures)

Huge fan of Liberty Classroom and Tom Woods and wanted to love this app, but it is not ready and is unusable to me in its current state. Here's why: Biggest issues: *App stops playback of audios (and presumably videos) as soon as the screen turns off. That's a deal killer right there. I'm not going to keep my screen on with my finger every 15 seconds so I can listen/watch a lesson. *The app does not remember where you left off in any lesson. So, when you go back to a lesson (like after the screen has shut off and you have to start again), it's starts at the beginning again. This is true even if you download the lesson. That's as far as I have gotten for obvious reasons. I'll definitely update my review when these are fixed and I hope that is soon. Really want this app in an operational state so I can have a simple, easy way to move through the LC courses!

It's just "ok." It generally functions, but it lacks a number of features that a 1st class tech learning platform should have...for example: 1) the app should remember who I am...I should not have to log onto the app each time I start it. 2) the app should "mark" my spot in any given lecture once I start it, so that I can stop, return to it, and pick up where I left off. 3) the app should also display which lectures I have completed, current progress, etc (just like Netflix or Amazon Video or any podcatcher). 4) the app should allow me to take notes on lectures as I am listening, "book mark" content when the profs make particularly poignant comments, etc. 5) #s 2 thru 4 above should be avail in whatever platform (PC, android phone, ipad) I choose to access at any time (example, I listen to 10 mins of 30 min lecture on my ipad, I should be able to resume on my android phone or computer later in the day...) Bottom line: this is a good beta version of the app, but for the amount of money I am paying, I expect upgrades to enrich the learning experience.

Like all of Tom Woods stuff, Liberty Classroom is awesome. The coursework and instructors are both top notch. Two things holding me back from 5 star review: can't play audio in background and no way to tell which lessons you've already listened to.
