The app stinks need to switch wi-fi to sound bar to get app to work. Then when done with app need to switch back to my Orbi router to get Wi-fi back. What a joke!!!! Will not let me connect to alex keeps saying turn off smart switch on my phone there is no smart switch. $800.00 sound bar and they can't even have an app that works why would LG put out an app that is trash.

I was using LG Wi-Fi Speaker for my LG Soundbar with minimal problems b4 forced to switch. Soundbar disconnects or turns off using optical connection. TV remote won't adjust volume until I reopen app. In the past I've done website and mobile app testing and this app isn't ready for beta testing. So many having problems regardless of connection type. Fix the app! Requirement that app run all the time on phone to have sound on my TV is unacceptable. Fix the app! Any workarounds?

Constantly reconnecting - frustrating app to use - no equalizer, just bass and treble, unclear labeling of what speakers a person is adjusting, and the constant dropped connection makes for a horrible user experience with my "higher end" 11RG soundbar setup. I'm able to make 1 change, then the app starts reconnecting, half the time my change takes, other half of the time it doesn't. My orbi routers are not near the system, so not an issue. Same for my C1 TV - LGs apps are just not up to par.

Is LG even trying to create a proper app? This is a joke. The app ever stays connected (bluetooth) to my SJ3 (46) soundbar. While the previous bluetooth app was basic, it was atleast paying once it is connected. Shows connected but doesn't play the sound. Just a disaster and total waste of effort. Giving 1 star because there are no options for 0 stars

It looks nicer but is a backward step in terms of functionality. You've moved some buttons so it requires more steps to get to them. PLEASE put the auto volume button back on the first page of the app so you can reach it quickly It is a very useful feature to quickly toggle on or off when watching TV at night or for watching two channel sources where the vocals are too low. Much more useful than night mode which is frankly useless.

Maybe refund people some money for overpriced bar that can't even work with a app to use the extra settings since you can't put a SIMPLE button or settings menu in the bar. Literally anything besides needing a whole separate app. Google home is USELESS... WOW a whole slider bar to change the volume... WOW! this is probably why it can't stay connected because Google is also trash
