This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing LEDVANCE SMART+ Bluetooth on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

Edit: It appears lost on the developers that I dont have access to the wifi router in my block of flats. If I had, I would be using a smart hub and not this atrocious app. This app is supposedly the only way I can connect via BT to my smart bulb. Except it keeps logging me out so I dont have easy control. Now my group and device just disappeared from the app. This app really is bad and I can only say avoid using it if you can. The developers really dga damn about making it work or functional

I bought two OSRAM SMART+ Flex 3p Multicolor. When I plug them in, I get a color cycle (blue/red/green/white). After that, nothing, No matter how often I do the 5x 5 second (or 3 second or 1 second) power cycle, still nothing. I have tried the app on three different smartphones. It just cannot find either one of my strips. They are under my phone's bluetooth menu as "Flex Ce", but when I click that, the lights flash three times and then it says "couldn't pair with flex ce - make sure it's ready to pair". So it's there somewhere. The fact that there is NO SUPPORT on this whatsoever is driving me crazy.

Absolutely horrible app, downloaded about a year ago and luckily connected my two light strips. After recent update of all, lights doesn't work anymore, done many resets for light strips but keeps continue to fail on adding device. So now I have smart light to operate by my hand to plug them in and out from sockets. Avoid! Trusted Osram light as it's trusted company, spent quite a bit of money for two light strips and all I got is disappointment....

Constantly disconnects and then can't find the device after resetting the device and restarting the app. Don't waste your time and money.

Horrible app. Asks you to sign in. With recent update, it got disconnected... And it doesn't remember the settings like when I say "no" to background usage. It has always asked for it, its also the reason I rarely open the app. Just so annoying. Also... do you care to explain why this app needs the GPS for the Bluetooth lightbulb?! Just so horrible user experience overall. Avoid it if you can. Refund your smart devices from them.

Bought a light bulb that works with this app. It is terrible. You can't really turn it off. It will still glow very low but it can't be turned off with the app. Does not Link to google assistant as it was advertised. Total waste of money

About this app

With the LEDVANCE SMART+ Bluetooth app, you decide how you want to use all products in our SMART+ Bluetooth family (OSRAM or LEDVANCE branded). Enable our products to control them with Google Home app or Amazon Alexa app. For both options the respective smart speaker is required. You can also use them with Apple Home app and Siri. Furthermore, you can control our SMART+ Bluetooth products with our app, which includes popular features such as turning lights on and off, grouping lights, adjusting the brightness level, changing colors with Full Color products and multi-user access.
Please note that the LEDVANCE SMART+ Bluetooth app does not work with the OSRAM or LEDVANCE SMART+ Zigbee products or brand new LEDVANCE SMART+ WiFi products. The Bluetooth Solar products are not compatible with this app. Please use the Ledvance Smart+ app for these products.
In order to control our SMART+ products with the LEDVANCE SMART+ Bluetooth app, you don’t need a separate gateway. The LEDVANCE SMART+ Bluetooth app eliminates the complicated setup problem and provides easy solution. To control you do not even need a WiFi router.
With our SMART+ Bluetooth products, you will also benefit from the new Bluetooth mesh technology. If you have multiple SMART+ Bluetooth mesh devices, you can control the lights in another room, on the next floor, or even outside your home thanks to the ability of mesh devices to relay commands and information between each other. With Bluetooth mesh devices, you can also take advantage of increased reliability and scalability with a limited delay in response when controlling individual lights or groups of lights together.
Moreover, if you prefer to use our SMART+ Bluetooth products with Google Home, you can simply enable them by the app. Afterwards the products can be easily connected to a Google Home or Nest device. This enables all great features of the Google Home system like app, voice control and routines.
In addition, you can choose to control our SMART+ Bluetooth products with Apple HomeKit. Follow the steps in the app and connect our products to the Home app. Accordingly our products can be controlled remote by phone or by voice commands with Siri.
And finally, if you prefer to control your SMART+ Bluetooth product with Amazon Alexa, enable your device in the app and pair it directly with your Amazon Echo speaker. Only ask Alexa to “Discover my devices” and you will have the unlimited experience of Amazon Alexa system with our products. Anytime a change of the SMART+ Bluetooth products to another smart home system is possible in the app.
