The only reason it gets a second star is I like that I can favorite events and then they come up in chronological order and also drops pins on the map. Unfortunately the map is pretty useless as you can't zoom out. Just get the pdf version from the website as its far more functional. This is 2019. I should have all my favorite spots pinned on the map and it should be able to show me the most efficient route to get to all of them. Disapointing app even for 2010 standards.

The map is fine and functional. The app has three categories: Food, Merchants, and Attractions. Love that you can scroll thru a category to read thumbnails on individual listings; tap on a listing for detailed info, and choose to tag it as a fave. Tagging it as a favorite then shows it as a location flag on the map. Even better, while on the map, tap the location flag and you're presented with a popup of detailed info about that fave.

I mean it technically does contain all the information you need, and it doesn't break my device or anything, but this app has been out for years now and hasn't had a single UI improvement that I can see. In fact, the map is somehow less functional than it used to be. It really needs an overhaul, or some search filters at the very least.

I downloaded this app thinking it would be able to give me walking directions to each vendor and it does not. The map doesn't even allow you to zoom in or out. When searching for vendors it lists them by distance and not alphabetically! No problem if you are allowed to type in the category or even name of the vendor but nope, no such luck. I had better luck using Google maps!

Decided to see exactly how bad the interface was after reading several reviews and then uninstalled within 2 minutes. The map does not pinch and zoom as others have stated, once you search for something on the food list it won't take it off, etc. Don't waste your time, just grab a map at the front gate and wander.

Everyone giving this app 1 star doesn't understand that it isn't Google Maps, nor should it be. Its purpose is to be an info guide for fairgoers who want to be able to find things on their phone (or save paper), and for that it does a decent job. The interface is easy to navigate, and the info is presented clearly. Improvements could be made to the text formatting, and it would be nice to be able to zoom on the map. However, it was good enough to find what I needed at the fair
