Finally, finally, finally, we can delete the copycats and wannabes and start using the real deal. (LawBox has been on the iPhone since the very beginning, but that hasn't been much help to Droid lawyers). Offline access? Check. Case law annotations? Check. Notes? Check. Bookmarks? Check. My favorite feature: it comes from folks who have been doing this for years.

About this app

LawBox is a legal reference and search utility for Android. LawBox features the fastest full text legal search engine on any mobile device. A built-in library allows users to download additional state and federal codes as they need them.

Codes, bookmarks and notes are all stored on the device: you can read, search and annotate without an internet connection.

The search feature allows full-text and boolean searches keyed to your location within a code.

Intelligent auto-linking recognizes references to other sections within and between code books.

The following code packages are available as free downloads:
• Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure
• Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure
• Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
• Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure
• Federal Rules of Evidence
• United States Constitution

Hundreds of additional 2013 codes are already available for purchase through the in-app store, including complete statute sets for:

• Arizona
• California
• Delaware
• New York
• Texas
• Illinois
• Florida
• United States Code
