Edit: thanks for responding to my review. I was able to find the sorted search, it was justnt intuitive to me that it was part of the chipper option which I disabled. I edited my review. Disappointed with this new redesign. I can no longer search and filter results based on time (Day, Month, etc). And a lot of the previous functionality has been deleted.

Love the new update. The ability to use the old style again is really nice for people who don't like change. There are some issues which have existed for as long as I can remember: multis/multireddits don't work. They are visibly there but show no content, do not sync properly, and only ones added from within the app are ever displayed (and inconsistently, at that). Fairs are a huge pain to use when posting, too. Otherwise a solid app but I still need the official reddit app to use multis :/

This new update is unexpectedly great so I'm posting to shout-out. I thought I'd have a battle reconfiguring settings, adapting to new interfaces, or just adjusting to the new look. None of those issues occurred and I've had a blast using it. I've used this app for several years and the way it runs now has given new life to browsing reddit. On the plus side, a lot of issues I experienced in prior versions have been fixed (e.g. direct video sharing, stuttering/connectivity, internal browser)

Update: been using this app exclusively for like six years at least. It's the best one out there. I've been using this app for ages, but about a month ago gif streaming broke and it's really annoying. It takes ages for Sync to load a gif from imgur or gyficat. It looks like it's loaded, but it won't play until way later. Edit: it was fixed but now the bug is back again for most gifs

I used Sync due to its relative simple and minimal design. After a recent update, this has changed and the app is now busier, more obtuse to use, and has implemented design changes that needlessly rearrange commonly used elements into places where they don't really belong. The 'classic' preset does not resolve the issues in question. This is no longer the app I paid for and I have lost a lot of respect for its maker.

I rarely rate things but I saw the revert to v20 and wanted to put this out there. The v20 update caught me off guard because nothing about the old app needed fixing to me (at least for an navbar purist who never used gestures, like me), but the "classic" preset got up and running pretty quickly (thanks)! Don't let the haters get you down. With some more refinement and including being able to hide/adjust certain elements I think v20 and beyond will be great. I'll join the beta to help out 👍
