A very good app with a lot of content. However the latest version added full screen ads with sound. Normally I don't mind ads in the slightest, unless they are too annoying - which is exactly the case here. And I don't mind buying apps to get more features and/or unlock more content but when I'm forced to buy a full version by shoving loud full screen ads down my throat, it's a lost cause in my opinion. Uninstalled.

Useful, needs polish. It's a very useful study tool. I agree with Joseph - the repeated words needs to be removed. There are also some missing sample sentences. The one thing missing which is rather important is furigana instead of romanisation. It's necessary to give a choice of seeing roman or kana chars to accompany kanji. The quizzes are a useful feature. Overall highly recommend but it could be truly great with some polish as indicated.

As a teacher who likes to learn and teach, I find this " Learn Japaness Free " app is also working very well for someone like me to learn the language according to my own pace. it's a great app just wish you can see the writing for the words in the other language to and there would be like a pre school class to teach you the alphabet saying it and writing it. And all of there learning apps was on one app that way it works out for both they Promote there other learning apps and we wouldn't have to download each app all you would have to do is download the Language you want or delete it and download a different one or you can download a few of them but it is a great app

I think my Japanese is basic, even though I was able to find many mistakes on the sentences so there may be many more! The good thing about this app is the fact that it pops up enough times throughout the day.

I love the word of the day notification in the tray. It's great for learning new vocabulary throughout the day. I just wish it worked more consistently.
