This app determines reverb time by fitting a line to the decay curve of an impulse sound. Good results can be obtained with a hand clap, but popping a paper bag or using a slap stick should work even better (See Bernade, Fundamentals of Musical Acoustics (Dover, 1990), p. 219, for slap stick construction). The pro version adds a breakdown of reverberation time for each 1/3 octave, but octaves below middle C require an impulse source with adequate low frequency output, which is hard to obtain with the hand clap.
