Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing PalmShop on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

This app is used to order items online.
Customers needn’t’ go to the shop daily to know the item prices.

This is a demo app. If some shop would like to use the app, the developer will do the customisation which includes
-Setup seperate backend server for the shop
-GooglePay and other payment details of the shop.
-Create service areas
-include logo and theme changes
-Audio alerts specific to their spoken language
-Billing info

When user places the order, a notification is sent to shop using Email and Push message. Same way when shop starts processing the order notification is sent from shop to user using Audio alert,Email and Push message. This app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging service.

Users can pay at the time of ordering OR
Shop can accept the payment after processing the order
Option to charge delivery cost from customers.
Google map intergration to display shop and user location

When there is no internet the app stores data internally and syncs with server when connection available

Use two mobiles (one for shop and one for user)
Install the app on both mobiles
Enable internet and location
Add few products on shop side
On shop side click Sync items (This will clear any items in the server and will upload only your items. Because this demo app has same server for all shops)

User side
Register a user with in 10 miles from the shop
Login as user
Items will be synced automatically
Place a order with few items
Note down the order reference

Check order notification on the shop side (Audio,Email and push message)
Start processing order
Check notification messages on the user side (Audio,Email and push message)
Generate bill and see the details
