I've switched from Apple with somewhat hesitation. I love music and losing some of the Apple exclusive apps have made me a bit sadder. But this app makes everything so much better. With one of the best clean-looking UIs in the play store, it claims the top spot for the best free music player. Of course some options are restricted, which are respected because developers need to make money. I haven't been a long time supporter but I can see a lot of progress has been made.

What's better than free with no ads? Though lately I'm finding it has issues with where your music is stored. ie: internal device memory, or micro SD (external). It won't merge the two locations into one. When I transfer directly from the PC it goes into the directory on the micro SD card I specify. But using WMP, it either dumps it into the main directory, or into BlackPlayer's own folder. It keeps changing, which is why I opt for manual transfer.

Very good app. Please add the ability to eq each album individually and single songs too. (10 band eq and like + - 12 db gain also). All albums are recorded differently, you can't eq by genre alone. Just set and forget without re-creating the track 👍

Is there a reason why my music continues to shut off on it's own without me pressing pause? At first, I thought it was phone because the screen was broken and any random pressure would set it off but I recently bought a new phone and the issue still persists.

Instead of showing the artist pic, it only shows a star in a grey background. I have tried deleting thumbnails for artists and redownloading new ones, but it did not work. I have even tried to deinstall and reinstall the app but nothing changed.

Very good app. There's a problem with EQ though. If you manually switch to a different song while using EQ the sound becomes muffled. If you switch to any song afterwards the sound remains muffled. The only way to fix it is to stop the song, stop the EQ, start another song and then start EQ again. Doing so will unfortunately automatically set the volume to max, so good luck if you are using headphones. Please fix the EQ!
