Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Interlex vocabulary on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Please note that for testing purposes, we've preliminary added some Wordlists(with words in them) and Tests. These Sample words have identical Foreign and Native part. This is done so you get to know how to work with the application. With real items, it's up to you to add appropriate Foreign and Native translation for a given word. Use the application in the most appropriate way for you.

The various permissions are needed to identify you in a unique way.

Although the user interface language is currently only English, you are in no way barred to use the application for e.g Japanese words exercises.

New features

Fixed a problem with PRO version not detected after purchase of PRO key.
Added Backup/Restore functionality so you don't lose your exams, words, etc. It can be accessed from the menu.
The Prompt message when you hit the Back key is now optional and can be disabled from the settings.
