This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Kinguist on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

I just downloaded this app and can't get past creating a username. It's a interesting concept, but when I push the check mark after selecting an avatar and a username, it does nothing. I'll revise my review if it ever works.

the idea of the app is interesting I just cant seem to get past creating a username? can anyone help?

Kinguist is a community-driven ecosystem of learning packs and challenges - teach yourself a new language while helping others learn your native tongue.

Create.
- Earn your first Kin by creating a learning pack for the community, or connect to the marketplace and explore bonus earning options here.
- Add slides and quiz questions to your learning pack, and put it up for sale or for free.
- Offer a reward for beating your challenge, and set the passmark yourself - other users can only take on your quiz once per day.
- Add multiple-choice answers or ask for a written answer. Written answers will be judged by accuracy, so if you're only a couple letters off you'll only lose a few points.

Explore.
- Browse packs that the community have made! We currently support five languages and a range of difficulties, with free packs alongside packs to spend your Kin on.
- Complete packs by checking out all of the slides and beating the challenge.

Learn together.
- Ask questions to pack creators to enhance your knowledge, or to get extra help if you're stuck.
- As a creator, answer new questions from the community to earn extra Kin.
