The device works fine but the mobilelite app needs to be updated. It works fine on my tablet running an older version of Android but it's very buggy on a newer device running Android Pi. Specific issues I'm having: - The phone will connect to the device but it doesn't find SD cards or USB drives - can't access the network settings to setup pass through internet There are 2 workarounds that can make it work in certain situations: - temporarily disabling mobile internet on my phone - use a different device to setup pass through internet and then I can access SD and USB's using my phone. This only works in a location with WiFi available (and requires me to have another device available) which doesn't help when I'm in a remote location without WiFi. The device is cheap so I'm going to keep it, but the app desperately needs to be updated.

The app worked fine when I used my HTC phone with it. But using a Samsung 6, it only allows me to transfer a maximum of 25 files each time ... it crashes if I try 26 or more!!! So it takes hours for me having to sit by the phone to keep making selections to transfer instead of doing it all at once. This is the most frustrating aspect of the app. Other than that, it's actually a pretty good app.

Does not work on a Xiaomi Mi A2 lite running Android One 8.1. The phone will connect to the MobileLite but it does not recognise the SD card or usb thumb drive are connected. Also will not allow me to use the pass through internet when trying to connect the MobileLite to my home WiFi router. Works slighty better with my iPad 6th gen, i can access connected storage, but still can't use the pass through internet. The device is a great device in theory but the app is buggy and unreliable.

After taking the time to download it understanding that it was a free app it comes to the point to worry you're going to transfer a photo and it tells you to download another app at the rate of $4 a month not exactly free and where I come from they call that well we'll just say not telling the truth.

Not the sharpest knife in the drawer: No Phone SD card access; No Share to MobileLite; No Background Task Monitoring; No .mkv support; No DLNA/UPNP support; No Chromecast support; No In-App Shutdown/Reboot; No SMB share without password; No USB-hub support

Works but inconsistent. Can retrieve photos using my newest Android 7 phone but can't view video. Can view video on my Android 4.4.2 but cant see photos. Photo Backup works.
