The app has very basic functionality (it would be nice to turn on speaker from app), but that's okay provided it works... Which it rarely does. I have had a slew of issues with app refusing to connect to the speakers in every way possible. The app forgets the speaker, the app recognizes the speaker but won't connect, the app doesn't see the speaker at all. Turning everything off and back on again won't work here, folks. It is fickle.

You can keep connecting/disconnecting the network on your phone, power on/off the speakers, reset your entire home network, but you will never be able to connect to your £2000 LS50 Wireless speakers. iOS app is even worse in finding these. Not to mention the speakers themselves no longer receive any updates as they're already obsolete.

Utter, utter waste of £1000 speakers. Bluetooth works (but poor quality, because it's Bluetooth), optical works, but WiFi/airplay is infuriating. The LSX will be my first and last KEF product. Instructions are useless - it's a global product so everything is explained by symbols rather than words (lazy KEF), which means if things don't work exactly as shown, you're on your own. A product for network engineers, not for music fans...

That white/blue screen looks very dated these days. It's not 2004 anymore and many use OLED screens. A dark mode at least (better with a re-design including a five band equaliser for better tonal adjustability) would be very welcome. The current options, whilst useful are too restrictive. The product (MK1 LS50W) is not that old that it can't be supported anymore, at least it shouldn't be or I would have to re-think future purchases from this brand. Thanks Kef team

I usually never rate products, but NEVER get a KEF speaker unless you run them fully wired. If you even consider dropping hundreds of bucks for a pair of KEF speakers then reconsider. This is a 5 dollar experience and a 1000 dollar product.

This app worked fine for my son's LSX system but won't find my ls50 WII. Roon finds them, Tidal finds them, Google home finds them but not KEF Control.
