Hell of a lot better than the default Samsung app, at least for me. I don't stream much audio and am using this simply to transition to using my phone from my old Sony Walkman, and so far it's exactly what I needed. Highly recommend! Note: If you're syncing music from your computer and are uptight about album art and tags, I highly suggest mp3tag on Windows as a companion. It makes my life so much easier.

Update 2020-09-24: Successful fix for Android 11. I prefer Phonograph Music Player to Google Music and others I have tried. Update 2020-09-23: App crashes on launch with Android 11 (as many others have stated). Original review: Plays music and looks good, but you'll spend a lot of time updating track info if you're picky about the song order remaining true. I had to edit the tags so that the songs would be sorted in the correct order. No one wants to hear track 2-01 play right after 1-01.

I love this app - it's the perfect music player without the fancy mod cons, as all I need is something to play my music. The new version release now ensures it works seamlessly with Android 11, so for those with issues, re-download the app. I previously had a glitch with the app and the developer was helpful.

Developers can't even provide dark theme without asking for payment. What a bunch of incompetent entrepreneurs. I will make a switch to other music player if they don't resolve this soon. (Also there was a time about 2 years ago when all themes and colors were free, but greedy devs or marketing department (if they have any) decided to screw it all up)

The app is simple and easy to use and a good alternative to GPM since it's going away...ugh, YouTube Music app....The only thing I am having issues with is the playlist feature, which is duplicating one of my playlist, even when I have deleted them several times...

App stops playing music after playing some songs. Sometimes, music is stopped when leaving the app. Also, the notification is removed when pausing from the notification. Earlier, this was not happening. This is even after battery optimization is turned off. Please fix!
