I snagged this app when it was being given away. I don't actually have my pup physically, but the results seem quite plausible when using a well framed picture taken head on. The more you are viewing the dog in profile, the more erratic the analysis gets. Right now, the only thing I know about my pup is that he is a large mixed breed, but he will be getting his breed identification through DNA at a later date. The only thing I'd like in this app is for it to have an option to list its best guess beyond the top 3.

Could be better, but it is quite accurate even with mixed-breed dogs. UI not very intuitive.

This app is the best! Our dog is a mutt, partially Australian Cattle Dog, but we couldn't ever figure out his dominant breed. I downloaded this app and it kept coming up Carolina Dog (we live in NC). I then googled Carolina Dog, which I hadn't heard of, and it's clear that's what he is! Thank you so much!!

Consistently getting the "out of memory error", even though I have no other apps opened and almost 1 GB free RAM of a total of 2 GB. I will edit/delete this review depending on the feedback. Thanks!

Well.. Based on my experience they did guess his dominent breed correctly. But it said "98%" .. My Loki is a mutt so i know hes gotta have more than just Catahoula.. I also tried my husky great dane just to see if it would come out accurate and.. It guessed 2 different dog breeds neither of them being the correct breed.. Overall its an ok app just not completely accurate.

I have a Basset and a rescue they say is a Beagle mix that actually looks more like a Tree Walker. The app says both are Beagle. I can let one mistake pass. But the Basset is unquestionably a Basset.
