I used this service for about 4 days in Playa del Carmen and at first I loved it. Nice bicycle connected to a fast and easy-to-use app. But the fare is ridiculously high and not so transparent. Apparently the app shows the rides you've had and the fare charged for each but it doesn't show everyone of them. I had a credit balance of 120 MXN (6 USD) I had a 2 hour ride (Short distance as I walked an hour along side with the bicycle on a pedestrian area) and when finished the ride my balance went to -150 (-7.5 USD)!!! And that ride is not showing in my app. Anyway that was the last time I used it. Counting the money I spent for those 4 days (Two or three rides per day) I could've bought an used bicycle downtown! I guess this is a nice option for an emergency but not for a regular use.
