Man what a stunning app, simple and beautiful. Can I suggest you make the bottom buttons sound on touch not on release (like the circle)? That would mean less lag when pressing the bottom buttons, and would make a big difference. You could also make the bottom buttons a bit bigger as well? Thanks so much for the app though! EDIT: Wow, what a first class developer response!! If I could give a sixth star I would

The best circle of fifths app! No ads, and it's free! But, I personally prefer if the wheel rotates so the key being looked at, is at 12 o'clock high. 👍

Awesome for a simple guitar player where were the slider goes around the circle gives you the set of chords that go together, slide it around the circle and get more combinations of chords that sound good together progressions. I had to download and so many of these so-called progression programs that are too complicated oh, so I had to get rid of them oh, I'm with this one 100% I guess those other ones AR for experts, anyway very cool I'm keeping this 1 thank you

Excellent!! PLEASE add in the following requests & feedback! We would happily pay for a paid version which extends options & this app would be PERFECT! - Dark Theme! - A toggle button to show the actual keys in each chord, example "C" would instead show c:e:g. - Quicker access to arpeggiator & any other playing options. - More arpeggiator Type & Step options. - Button to toggle option of repeating/looping chord/arp when just pressing key once. - Extra instruments like guitar & simple synth. :()

I'd suggest if the Roman numerals could be denoted as small as well as capital notations alongwith the diminished note notation (" ° "). But I'm really impressed with the simplicity of this app. No annoying and useless designs. Most of all no ads.

I like this better than a similar app I had been using. A bit more responsive and the UI is easy on the eyes. Developer is responsive to feedback. All in all, excellent app!

About this app

The circle of fifths (Sometimes called circle of fourths) is a great tool for understanding the music theory behind the 12 keys of the chromatic scale. It is useful for visualizing the music notation of the different scales, composing chord progressions/modulations and mixing in key.

Features:
- Color-coded relationship between the major, minor and diminished keys
- Key signature and triad for each key
- A sounded chord/arpeggio for each key (With mute/unmute toggle)
- Ability to lock the circle to currently selected key
- A tappable legend indicating the degree of each key in the currently selected group
- Several color schemes
- Modern UI following material design guidelines

I hope you enjoy using this circle of 5ths app as much I as I enjoyed making it! Have fun! - Josh
