Every single time I have an issue with casting (which this $500 speaker is supposed to be based around) I've found the fix is to kill the "JBL One" app, and then it works beautifully. It took me a LOT of troubleshooting to figure this out, and the issues happen constantly. On an S22+ This is not acceptable for computer illiterate people. For me, fine, I found the fix. But others...

Connects to the bar 1300X, initiates wifi connection, and doesn't go past that. * * * Now out of nowhere, I opened the app and found it miraculously fully paired / connected the bar and phone. I'll only add one star for that then wait and see. * * * * False alarm back to default. Have to take that one star back. Yes it works on my A50 and some random iPhone just moody on my S22 Ultra

This thing is absolutely the bees knees. Multiple inputs makes this very versatile whatever your choice in streaming services or music streaming service. After living with this fantastic piece it sounds fantastic and it goes on first thing to get my groove on. Nothing can touch this sound and feature set. Worth every penny!

Is quite a slow app, I'm using my music service within the app, have a boombox 3 wifi, it take about 6 seconds to go to the next song and when the album is continuous the time from one to another track is not right. The quality on the tracks is only mp3 not FLAC too when streaming from the speaker.

Soundbar is connected to my wifi network. Soundbar connects, disconnects, and plays tunes over Bluetooth. JBL One will not add my product, even when the soundbar says that it is connected to my phone. I have reset the soundbar a couple of times with no luck. I have uninstalled JBL One and reinstalled it again with no improvement. However, besides JBL One the soundbar updates and plays via Bluetooth as it should. I think that the only feature that doesn't work is streaming music. Boogers!

App is pointless the eq is extremely limited with minimal adjustment. You can't change surround mode, dialogue, sub volume, channel volume etc. All things that should be standard on an app on a device this new. My last LG sound bar and even older pioneer receiver had much more features and options you can control. I would love to be able to lower the subwoofer volume more as its too much on day to day and I would love to increase the centre channel as its a tad low. It just sucks. Jbl bar 500.
