It's really good. Save wi/we, all hiragana and katana and more than 400 words of vocabulary. The UI is a little dated, which can make transitions sometimes less than perfect. It's really good.

I've looked at many, many kana apps for both iOS and Android, and this is the best one. This is the one I keep coming back to for simple kana study. Writing practice, several test types, etc. It's simple, but less is more here. I prefer to use a stylus, and practice the Direct Impute and Leitner test mode. Though, sometimes I switch it around.

This is an awesome app! I became a huge fan when I had my iPod touch. I have been waiting patiently for an android version since I sold my iPod touch a few years back. This app is a steal for only a $1.

More than just a flashcard system, this actually lets you trace the symbols on the screen. 2 mins in the app is enough to know it is just what I need.
