Incredible app, still few things are missing in android version. Id love to record my sessions into wav (which is possible) and then SAVE wav file in any location (I dont need to share them on soundcloud, as android allows me to freely copy files). Would be usefull for exporting. Also I dont know why there are stock samples in any of my project dirctories, when I am not using them. Love Space node. Its almost impossible what you can do with cheap tablet :) Good job

Slick, satisfying virtual modular synth with sampling functions, well-designed interface, and huge sonic possibilities. Frustratingly, I have had a few crashes during saves on patches and lost the work and haven't gotten OSC, Midi, external sync yet but hope that'll iron out someday with further development. Regardless, Jasuto deserves high marks for its value and scope of potential as a sound laboratory.

I got this app back when it was first out on my iPhone 3 and was fascinated by the depth of modulation I could achieve. I was comforted that my beloved app would still be available when I made the move to android but alas it was unusable. I couldn't even select two nodes to wire them. This update has changed all that and more. A truly superb app once again thank you, I understand that programming is hard.

Great modular synth, very versatile. My only problem with it is that the mic input node has not worked since forever. I've now tried it with a HTC Desire HD, a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and a Huawei Y360, but the mic node outputs no sound on any of these devices. It used to work really well before one of the first updates, so could the developer please look into this? It's pretty much the only reason I bought this app in the first place :(

Love this app. Exactly what i was looking for, now i just have to figure out how to harness it's power. The one problem is I can't get my Akai MPK mini to work. Works on all the other apps I have but not this one :( 5 stars if that gets fixed. ... Well it's been a few months and haven't heard anything. Is the DEV still working on this app?

About this app

[ACCOLADES]

- Reviewed in Computer Music magazine and received a 9/10!
- Listed as one of Music Radar’s best Android music making apps!

[DESCRIPTION]

Jasuto is the world’s first (and most powerful) modular synthesizer for the Android platform and optimized to run on Android phones and tablets.

Jasuto allows you to visually construct your own synths/effects, and use them to make sequences all on your device! With the addition of a fully-featured sampler you can now record/resample/edit, and even create entirely new samples by drawing right in the app.

Jasuto uses the relative position of nodes and their connections to control the sound. So the scene not only represents the synthesis structure, but also a custom multi-touch control surface. Motion can be recorded per node giving you rich, flexible automation.

Connections can be created automatically by simply dragging nodes around, or manually. Each wire can be double-tapped to allow even more control of each connection.

Jasuto comes installed with 75+ modules as well as 200+ pre-loaded scenes and samples. Each of the modules have been hand-optimized for your device's CPU, allowing you to create extremely complex scenes.
