Honestly this app is amazing and has great potential! The reason i did not give 5 stars is because there are some issues. sometimes the music will stop while playing, or when i go to skip songs it stops the music. Another thing i would like added is the ability to link it with Spotify or apple music so that more people can use it. You have to have downloaded music on ur phone to play.

I love this app, brings back all the memories. However, I'd like to see improvements to the album art finding (I dont notice a pattern of if their jpgs in the folder or embedded, some work and many albums dont), more granular ui controls like toggling the line dividing the status bar from the rest of the screen, color picker to choose the exact shade of elements or just a warmer white background option because my phones display is uncomfortably cold, options for changing the color of the app icon, replicating the black and white lcd, and please add support for cue sheets and wav files. Lastly and this is a moonshot, but support for internet radio streams so I can load a m3u playlist. Thank you and love your work!

Thanks for adding the clickwheel. I think some of the other shortcuts like holding down the bottom to turn off would be good (double click and hold bottom) for those who had an iPod. Video would be great also. If so mp4 limited video basically ensures that you're not going to get all the spam videos people usually get from Whatsapp, which is why I like the retroPod (and I've got a ton of Mp4 videos) Thanks very much! So far it's a great experience! Though, I would really love to see these features in a future • UI closer to the og iPod • Adjust haptic feedback intensity • Ability to use the app when the phone's locked (like FX Image Viewer) • Ability to use Sony's EQ (exclusive to Sony for obvious reasons) • Sleep option turns off phone's screen rather than closing the app (or you could make it adjustable on settings to make it turn off the screen or exit the app) Thanks!!

So cool! Gives you that nostalgic iPod feel. Only thing it's missing is those games it had. I used to play the bricks one and the one where men fell from helicopters and you shoot them down.

Really, really cool app. Nostalgic af. Wish there was more options tho. Like make album art bigger, or even the background? On top of that, not sure how to get album art on some albums.
