App keeps cutting out when my screen turns off. It's the only app that does it, so I know it's not my settings. What ever you guys did, it was working great now it's turning off when my screen closes. This is the only app that I have issues like this. I checked and the app is not set to sleep

Like everyone says, the broadcast will cut out intermittently sometimes you have to press play again to get it going. Also I toggle off the auto play and push notifications and the app itself will toggle them back on. So everytime I auto connect to a bluetooth device WBAL starts playing on it's own. The app plays when you want it off and cuts off when you want it on. I'm uninstalling.

I reside outside of good am radio reception for about the first 20 minutes of my commute. Streaming the app gives me crystal clear reception and I can hear the traffic reports to avoid the problems before getting stuck in traffic. This does not seem to be advertised in the app, but I have DVD based GPS in my vehicle which is not connected to the internet, my phone running the app is connected to the car via bluetooth connection. I recently updated this app and the next time I was commuting and approaching a backup, I was hearing traffic alerts in GPS, relevant to the time and the place where I was. Never had that before with my fairly basic GPS. I can only assume that traffic push alerts are now part of this app that take into account my GPS location and gives me an audio alert that comes through my car speaker via the bluetooth connection. That is a heck of an upgrade for a free app. Regarding older posts about games not being able to stream from the app, don't blame the radio and tv stations, blame the greedy MLB and NFL for banning games to be broadcast on free streaming. Heck it now costs a family of 4 upwards of $500 to attend a game, why not gouge us $10-$20/month?
