Girls and Guys, my beloved friends in Christ Jesus, you would agree with me that we have come a long way in making available to our youths and young adults across the globe deeply inspired devotional. We have continued to receive testimonies of God’s blessings upon you and families who continuously use the Young Mind Reflections, which is a big encouragement to us. We are thankful to God for the grace to place the Young Mind Reflections on free application in Google play store since January, 2015. So far, we have over 30, 000 users who either downloaded directly or got by flash share from friends.

You would recall that the Lord took us through in-depth study of the Holy Scriptures in the past year when we dwelt on the theme: God’s Word, My Guide. With our deeper understanding of God’s word and its requirements for our daily walk with God, the stage has been set for us to take a leap further in our journey of faith. Hence, the Lord revealed to our dear Prelate the theme of Conference for 2018, which is Strive for Peace and Holiness, Hebrews 12:14. The theme is very appropriate for our young people in particular, as well as the whole Church. It provides a platform for us to consolidate our cherished peace, unity and harmony as a people of God. It is also expected to ginger us into holy living amidst endemic corruption and immorality in our Nation, and in checkmating youth restiveness and peer pressure. It is, therefore, a call unto prayerful and intentional action for peace and holiness as Christians, for the betterment of society.

Hence, I urge you, our readers, to spend time with God in prayers and meditation on the word of God even as you go about your business, work and study, because all of this combined makes a total person. Intensify prayers for the leadership of the Church of God in Nigeria and the world and for the political and economic stability of our Nation as we gradually approach 2019 general elections.
