Doesn't appear to de-noise anything, at least not what I was looking for. However it does appear to play music from my SoundCloud account better than the actual SoundCloud app. Update took away the only reason I had to use this app. I cannot get past an advertisement to get to my SoundCloud account. It has now decended to a 1 star useless app to me.

Well the app was working perfect but then the other day sound starting cutting in and out every couple seconds so I updated the app and now it's no longer the same app at all and most important no longer free.. uninstalled... late

In my opinion mobile phones aren't very fast at processing sound from the microphone.Active noise cancellation is basically the mic sound but the phase is inverted. When these inverted waveforms are played over the environment noises they cancel each other out (0dB). This requires extremely low latency. A few microseconds of latency will cause an unsuccessful noise cancellation. That's why active noise cancellation can't be executed digitally. Op-amps can be used since they are analogue devices.

I can not see option to add songs to playlist. I can create playlist but cannot add any song to it, so I have to click per song. The noise cancelling seems to work, I am not very sure, while in earphone, I can still hear the noisy traffic, just a bit reduced. Also does not have option to use SD card as music source. Also not sure what normalizer exactly does, it seems to just increase the volume
