About this app

In the tradition of playing boxes or squares for the big game, the Iron Grid app creates a similar game-play experience in a more efficient manner. Instead of running to the local establishment or to physically get your boxes, let the Iron Grid do it for you. Simply use the Iron Grid app on your smartphone to create, invite, and follow along while watching football with your friends.

After downloading the app, anyone can create a game as a commissioner or join as a player. The commissioner either selects a matchup or creates a custom matchup of two teams. The commissioner determines points for entry, the in-game/final distribution, and the deadline to enter before kickoff. Once parameters are set, the commissioner then invites players via email address to join.

After receiving the invite, the players can quickly download the app, and join the matchup in which they were invited. Boxes are evenly distributed and randomly assigned to each player, including the commissioner, at a predetermined time before the game. Games can be created minutes before kickoff, and the commissioner can invite just 1 or up to 99 friends to play. If the total number of players does not divide evenly into 100, the remaining boxes will be randomly assigned to players.

With the Iron Grid, a box pool is no longer just a single event surrounding the big game. It is an easy and exciting experience football fans everywhere can have with any football game this season.

New features
