This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing UPRH Alert on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. La aplicación es una herramienta excelente para un momento de emergencia, pero cuando envían notificaciones con relación al recinto no puedo verlas. Le doy al ícono de notificación y desaparecen sin darme la opción a leerlas. Espero un update el cual me permita leer en la aplicación la notificación enviada.

About this app

UPRH ALERT! Es una aplicación de seguridad para los estudiantes y facultad de la Universidad de Puerto Rico de Humacao. De encontrarse en una situación de peligro dentro de los predios del recinto, con solo presionar el botón de la aplicación, se enviará una alerta con su ubicación al cuerpo de vigilancia de la institución.

Además, la aplicación cuenta con la capacidad de programar una Alerta por Tiempo (“timer”), donde en caso de que sienta que está en una situación de riesgo, puede configurar la alerta para ser enviada en un periodo de tiempo (“Timer”). Una vez se sienta seguro, la desactiva con la contraseña indicada. Si no la desactiva, el alerta será enviado automáticamente.
