This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Public Radio on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

I installed this for Samsung Galaxy S and Kindle Fire and it works great on each. The set-up is simple and I have had no trouble getting/keeping stations. On phone, I turn on station and turn off/lock screen and haven't had a single issue with screen timeout.

Very frustrating to use. Usually can't hold a stream if the screen times out on its own or if a msg is received. Rarely picks a stream back up if lost

I have a droid x, and most of the streams never work or are dropped. Favorites also doesn't seem to work.
