If you need to study for the chspe, don't use this app. It sucks. Whoever made this app either didn't care about the quality or they didn't care to learn English grammar.

About this app

A straightforward app that helps you prepare for the CHSPE. Clean and super intuitive user interface design. Focus on studying, not on how to use an app. No internet connection required. No need to carry heavy books or to print bulky note cards.

CHSPE is a test for students who need to verify high school level skills. In some cases, students take the test and leave high school early to work or attend college. Those who pass the test receive a Certificate of Proficiency from the State Board of Education, which is equal by law to a California high school diploma.

People who are 16 years of age or older may take the test. Younger people who meet other criteria can also take the test. This test is given twice each year at many sites in California. The test covers three subjects: reading, writing, and math.

California law requires that the Certificate of Proficiency be equivalent to a high school diploma. A student who receives a Certificate of Proficiency may, with verified parental approval, leave high school early. The Certificate of Proficiency, however, is not equivalent to completing all course work required for regular graduation from high school. If a student is planning to continue his or her studies in a college or university, they should contact the admissions office of the institution they plan to attend so that the student may understand that institution’s admission requirements including whether or not the Certificate of Proficiency will be sufficient for admission.
