The app is good, but I don't think I'll subscribe. Partly for a really petty reason: at one point during the trial the app came up with a "one time offer to subscribe for a reduced price". I just wasn't in a position to grab my card and put my details in at the time. Now paying full price just feels... wrong. Also, the app never let me access NYT articles during the trial, which was annoying. That all said, I have about 30 news apps on my phone, and can see the appeal in this one. Worth trying.

I love this news app. It's easy to use and provides a wide array of news sources with a good personal feed based to tagging. But I noticed that it restarts after losing focus, which is a problem when sharing articles, as opening the share menu restarts the app, which again closes the share menu. This makes sharing impossible.

Morning Edition only on web not mobile. In article view, a share button is displayed at the upper-right corner. So what's the point of displaying another floating one in the lower-buttom corner over the text?! - it is relatively expensive. Features request: 1. Need to change font size. 2. Landscape orientation for mobile version. 3. There's no dark theme for the web app. 4.The web site is labeled "not secure" by Google chrome. 5. please take due care of the web app version too.

Excellent News App - use it as my daily news source and it amalgamates all the key articles/stories from a range of news sources + it has some great novelty stories I wouldn't have otherwise picked up! Definitely worth the subscription once you get into the routine of checking the app habitually.

Installed the app to try it. Clicked on the very first news article which failed to open and was asked to buy a membership. What's the point of the free/basic plan if I cannot even read one article. Do you expect users to start paying without even giving them the chance to try it first?

Worth the cost. High quality articles with no ads. They do a good job of picking interesting articles on a variety of expected and unexpected topics.
