The usability of the IMDb app continues to decline. First, the search functionality, which should be (and actually used to be) prominent on the front page, is on a separate tab requiring extra touches to access. Second, the trailers on pages for movies and actors, fills 1/4 of the screen when a page loads but cannot be used to scroll. No, instead any touch starts them playing. That said, the information IMDb provides is accurate and useful.

Hi there, it's been a LONG time since it went away, but Ive just continued to be hopeful it will come back. I ALWAY used to use the list to see what I wanted to go see in the theater. But now the list of currently showing movies is no where to be found 😑 it used to be smack right on the home screen of the app. Super frustrating. Hope you can get it fixed.

I used this app for years to do two things: explore upcoming movies, and look up cast members of movies while reading into folks careers. In both flows, I would copy and paste the name of the film or person into a list making app or into Google so I could read further. Guess what? You can't copy paste out of this app anymore. I assumed it was a bug when they revamped so I kept trying for a while. But no, looks like a deliberate choice. App is now useless.

Awesome! My go-to app to find info on pretty much anything related to movies & TV shows (new releases & classic) including the actors, reviews & trivia (you can edit or add trivia info). They list recommended & up-coming movies & TV shows. The summaries of TV shows & movies aren't good but the good out weighs the bad. You can also check out other people's lists or make your own with numerous topics. You can do alot with this app. I definitely recommend this app😉

Used to be a great resource but updates have ruined it. Some old shows are listed under the name of the episode instead of the show, i.e. Columbo so it's hard to find what you're looking for. Switching from a list of credits to an enlarged list involves much more scrolling to find what you're looking for, especially when the person has 200+ credits. Pictures of cast members sometimes changes showing the incorrect pictures. Probably more, but that's my top 3. Have to Google before I go to IMDB.

I use IMDb weekly, and sometimes daily! I adore somewhat obscure thriller films, especially from the 1950s through the 1970s. Often I look them up using IMDb to check out the cast, the general synopses, and other facts regarding the films. Something else I really love is that the app will let me know when something from my watch list is available on fairly well-known apps! I've managed to be able to catch many films with just this feature alone! Love IMDb! For film buffs, it's a must-have!
