About this app

Pencak silat Setia Hati didirikan oleh Ki Ngabehi Soeromihardjo (Eyang Suro) pada tahun 1903 di Kampoeng
Tambak Gringsing, Surabaya. Sebelumnya aliran pencak silat ini bernama aliran Djojo Gendilo Tjipto Muljo.
Kemudian Eyang Suro mendirikan
perguruan silat bernama Persaudaraan Setia Hati di Desa Winongo, Madiun pada tahun 1917


Pada mulanya, perguruan pencak silat Setia Hati memang hanya di Madiun yang berlokasi di Jalan Gajah Mada
No 41. Orang-orang mengenalnya dengan sebutan SH Panti. Kediaman milik Eyang Suro inilah yang dijadikan
sebagai tempat pendidikan pencak silat Setia Hati. Di tahun 1922, sang pahlawan perintis kemerdekaan pada masa 1
883 – 1952 yakni Ki Hadjar Hardjo Utomo mengembangkan ilmu pencak silat Setia Hati dengan nama Pencak Silat
Club (P.S.C) yang kemudian berganti dengan nama Setia Hati Muda (S.H.M) atas izin Eyang Suro. Pada tahun 1948,
organisasi pencak silat ini resmi dinamakan dengan Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT)
