Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ILX Player on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Similar to other reviews, not all courses are available. i'm enlisted for Prince2 Practitioner but it isn't availavle on this app

Similar to another review, my ongoing PMP course (or any of its content) does not appear in this app. I have tried re-logins, but there is no content under 'Courses Available to Download'. Devs - please advise?

About this app

The ILX Player App has been designed to allow simple access to your eLearning courses. Simply download the App and login using your ILX portal login email and password. You can then download and consume video based course content on your phone or tablet. Content is stored locally on your device so once it’s downloaded you can study anywhere without the need for an internet connection.

Please note you will require an ILX portal account to be able to use this App. ILX's complete eLearning portfolio is available to download subject to licence.

New features

The ILX Player App now has interactive elements in the form of post session quizzes which are unlocked when you complete a video training session.

We've also added pre-classroom courses for PRINCE2®, MSP® and ITIL®. These deliver video sessions and a course quiz designed to give students a head-start, ensuring that they get the most from their classroom training.
