Does not pair with thermometer unit. It is really unfortunate, because the most basic first step to being able to use this app with the thermometer would be getting the app to talk to the thermometer. Bluetooth communication technology has been around for over a decade now, and yet this app still cannot perform that basic function.

Since I changed phones to the galaxy s10e this app will not pair with my thermometer. It worked perfectly with the old phone.

Like others have said, this app will not pair with the thermometer. However, I downloaded the same app from a mirror site, same version and build (1.0.3 build 9), BUT DOES NOT HAVE THE "NEW" BANNER ON THE ICON, and it paired quickly and easily. 3 stars because i got it to work, but shouldn't have had to go through all that trouble.

Tried it hoping Oregon Sci had fixed their app so it would pair. Fat chance. My phone can see the thermometer in Bluetooth but absolutely will not pair. Oregon Sci should refund to those who got suckered into this useless device. Oh, it will tell you either the food temp or the smoker temp--only 1 probe provided so you pick which you care about. But since you have to go stand next to your cooker to see the readout, you gain nothing you could not get with simple meat and oven thermometers. Blech

Utter garbage. Three different phones and it won't connect. Finally got it to pair with one phone after two hours of fighting with it and lost pairing as soon as I walked ten feet away. Do not waste your money on this thermometer. Buy a cheaper one as you'll end up standing right next to the grill anyway.
