Very good application for those trying to learn 22 shruti concept. But for Ragas beginning with lower Ni like Yaman, if lower octave is added that would be great. A keyboard interface with 22 Shruti feature would be a great addition. But overall its a very nice app.

This is a very good appa, very good attempt, But a small potion sine wave sound is I think is on loop. Instead of using that small potion use a longer wave which extends many seconds so that there would be less disturbing "click sound."

Good App. But in stead of Flats, developers are using # signs and instead of sharp using *. This is confusing. If there is certain reasons of doing this, there should be option to select the international # and flats. Otherwise, its good.

Very helpful app. So much precise knowledge of all Shrutis. Just sometimes get hang while comparing ET with 22 shrutis in my mobile. Otherwise its full of vast knowledge of shrutis and music.

Really appreciate your contribution. It would be better if you can display the frequencies in a table format also. Thank you.

Some raagas like Yaman have mandra Ni as initial swara. But the app doesn't have Mandra Ni. Raagas like marwa have nyasa on upper octave Re. Please add some swaras from Upper and lower octave. Bhairavi has all 7 swaras in aaroh. Please make theory corrections for other raagas. The scale symbols are not correct. Can you change the beep sound to wavy sound like Meend? This app is too user friendly to be free.

About this app

22 Shrutis are basic musical notes in Indian/Carnatic Classical Music. This app gives you ‘ready’ and ‘precise’ sounds of 12 notes of ET (European Equi-tempered) Scale, as well as 22 Shrutis (Indian Natural Scale), as used in 500 Ragas, with their frequencies (hz), from any selected Shadja (Fundamental Tone). A section for direct comparison of 12 ET notes and 22 Shrutis is also included. This app can be used for tuning instruments and for practicing vocal/instrumental music.
