APP CORE FUNCTIONALITY
The core functionality of the app is to allow the user to schedule audio recordings at the desired time: audio recordings should start automatically at the selected time. The app was designed for sleep talk control and similar purposes (scheduling recordings of school lessons, etc.). To do that the app must be able to record in the background at the selected time even if the user is not interacting with the device.

ACCESSIBILITY API USE
To achieve this goal the app makes use of the Android Accessibility API. The app uses an Accessibility Service to record audio in the background at the desired time: this prevents the OS from killing the recording Service when the user is not interacting with the device. A persistent notification is always displayed when the recording is ongoing.

DATA COLLECTION AND USAGE
The Accessibility Service records audio through the Accessibility API at the time selected by the user. Audio files are stored only in the device memory and are available to the user to listen. Audio files are not shared, collected or processed in any other way. The user has full control over his/her audio recordings.
