About this app

People start learning music or dancing by counting 'one', 'two', 'three' and 'four'.
But these are different words and may give the learner different time impressions.

This app is to help the learner to check if:
1. one always have a longer / shorter time on counting certain number.
2. one can feel the tempo from a given introduction and keep on counting correctly.
3. one can maintain a constant tempo or have tendency to speed-up / slow-down.

How to do the test:
1. Setup the conditions that the learner wants to test.
2. Touch the big 'Start' button.
3. The app starts the cue, the big button flashes according to the tempo.
4. Learner feel the tempo, touch the big button. Every touch will be recorded.
5. The cue end and learner keeps on touching the big button by his/her counting. Every touch will be recorded.
6. The test lasts for:Time duration of a beat x (1 + No. of Beat x (Cue Bars + Test Bars))
7. After the test duration, the test results comes up automatically.

Notes:
1. We have "Beat" mode (need to touch on every beat) and "Bar" mode (only need to touch on beat #1 of every bar).
2. The app filters out excess data (e.g. if in "Beat mode", data #1 is valid and the app found that data #4 which is closest to [data #1 + duration of a beat], then data #2 and data #3 will not be counted.) but it does not correct missing data.
