I may have found a workaround to stop this invasive parasite app from popping up. Chrome: Settings>homepage, you'll see 2 options, Chrome and instantnews. I deleted the instant news and typed in Chrome, resulting in Chrome being listed twice. Deleting the instantnews option wasn't enough, it came back like weed, I had to have something in its place. So far, so good. We'll see what happens when I turn it off & on. The permissions this unwanted app has to gather and share info is horrible.

Google Play has to remove this. It is malware spam that automatically loads, never allows me to delete. Once I accidentally click on one of its news alerts, it dispenses with/bypasses the alerts and automatically jumps to their page, and to other pages, anytime Chrome is opened. I turn off the app's notifications and they mysteriously turn back on in minutes. It even popped Chrome open when I was clearing the Chrome app cache in settings!!

This application is nothing but spam & malware!!! Disruptive & freezes my phone pathologically. It also uses up my data & battery like a vampire. I tried to uninstall it on multiple occasions... it states "uninstalling" but then pops right back up. If I continue commenting it will be profanities only. I don't want to quiet it!!! I want it gone! IMPORTANT: it's also spiked w/ subscription spams. My friend just got her bank account depleted, when she thought she paid for only s/h.

Not even sure how this app was installed in the first place, seems to have been added as part of a system update. In any case, it's a mediocre user experience with too many notifications, I prefer Google News or Flipboard. Added: Now the damn app auto updated and re-enabled itself, turning on even MORE notification options by default. When I disable an app I expect it to STAY disabled. Added 10/12/21: the freaking app reinstalled itself AGAIN. You know what sort of software does that? MALWARE.

If I could give this app 0 stars I would. I believe this is the adware app that kept hijacking my browsers all on its own, frequently opening new tabs to news & game websites. Tried deleting Chrome & uninstalling updates, but that didn't work. It can't be fully uninstalled or disabled. What did seem to work so far was installing NoRoot Firewall and denying the app access to Internet. In last 3 days I've no longer had any unwanted tabs opening themselves. Hopefully this will keep working. Awful.

I didnt download this annoying app, nor do I want it. It pops up every single time I try and get on chrome, and I have to close it out then go re-type whatever I'm going on chrome for to begin with! I hate pre-loaded apps that you can't uninstall and don't understand why pre-loaded apps even exist! They take up space and I am quite capable of installing my own (wanted) apps. I can understand showing them as ads so people can choose if they want to install them! But to add w/o permission isn't ok
