Cam Ly sisters have expressed their singing talents. In 1993, Cam Ly and Minh Tuyet went to sing and also that same year she and her brother won the first prize duet by the Hoa Binh Theater organization. After this event, Cam Ly started his professional singing career when he decided to join Kim Loi Studio , a recording studio of his time.

In 1997, Minh Tuyet to study in the United States , Cam Ly must stop singing for a time due to health reasons. One year later, she sang back and released two albums with singer Song Han and in 1999, she and singer Dan Truong released the album "If embryo tomorrow" . In 2000, she marked her solo career with her debut album, "Do not Fade" .

In the following years, she presented songs by Nguyen Nhat Huy, such as "The End of the Street", "The Weird Harbor", "The Tragedy of the Dead," "The Clouds," "The Unchanging Love" . Cam Ly's first folk album, "Country Girl" released by Kim Loi Studio, includes 11 folk songs: "Forget the coconut tree", "The sad bird", "The sad phoenix" , "Happy Mother", "Remember Mother Orphan", "Afternoon Afternoon Central".

In July 2001, Cam Ly became the first Vietnamese singer to have a DVD program, and this was also the time when she set up a stable style completely independent of Dan Truong . Cam Ly is the most successful singer of Kim Loi studio .
